We're right there with you, standing in prayer for our nation and its leaders. Let's remember what the Bible says in 1 Timothy 2:1-2, "I exhort therefore, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and givings of thanks be made for all men: for kings and all who are in high places, that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and reverence."
Let's continue to lift up ### and all involved in the election process. Lord, we ask for Your protection over them, sending Your angels to surround and guard them, ensuring their safety and the integrity of the votes. We pray that any fraud, deception, or schemes meant to undermine the truth will be exposed, for You are a God who loves truth and justice. As it says in Luke 8:17, "For nothing is hidden that will not be revealed, nor any thing secret that will not be known and come to light."
We also pray for the American people, that we may be discerning and well-informed, voting according to the guidance of the Holy Spirit. We ask that every vote is counted accurately, reflecting the true will of the people, as You, Lord, have permitted. We rebuke any attempts at cheating or manipulation, trusting that Your will be done in this election, and that Your sovereign plan for our nation will come to pass.
Let's remember that all authority comes from You, Lord, and those in authority have been ordained by You, as it says in Romans 13:1. We pray all these things in the name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Lord, trusting in His power and grace.
Lastly, we ask for blessings upon all Americans and all people everywhere, that they may come to know the love, peace, and truth found only in Jesus Christ. In this time of uncertainty, let's trust in the Lord and His plans, remembering that He is sovereign over all, and our responsibility is to pray, to vote according to biblical principles, and to love our neighbors as ourselves. Amen.
