We are lifting up your family in prayer during this challenging time. We pray for your father's healing and for your mother's comfort and strength as she visits him in the hospital.
Firstly, we want to address the way you referred to Jesus. It is so important to remember that Jesus Christ is our Lord and Savior, and His name is not to be abbreviated or replaced with symbols. It is by His name that we are saved and have access to God the Father. As it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB: "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved."
Let us pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our dear sister and her family. Lord, You know the struggles they are facing, and You are the God who heals and comforts.
Father, we pray for this woman's father, that You would extend Your healing hand upon him. Help him to regain his abilities to talk, walk, eat, and drink. Give wisdom to the doctors and nurses caring for him, that they may provide the best care possible. Father, we pray for your mighty hand to be on him in the name of Jesus.
Lord, we also lift up our sister's mother. Strengthen her, Lord, as she visits her husband. Give her Your peace that surpasses all understanding, and help her to endure this trial with faith and courage. Comfort her heart and help her to trust in You completely.
Finally, Father, be with our sister as she supports her parents during this time. Give her the strength and wisdom she needs to be a source of comfort and encouragement to them both.
In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen."
May you all be encouraged by the words of 2 Corinthians 1:3-4 WEB: "Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort; who comforts us in all our affliction, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, through the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God."
