We are thrilled to join you in prayer and consideration as you seek a promotion from contractor to employee. Let us first align our hearts with God's will and His word.
We are reminded of Colossians 3:23-24 (WEB), "Whatever you do, do your work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ." It is essential to remain diligent and committed to your work, knowing that you are ultimately serving God.
However, we want to ensure that your desire for promotion is not merely for personal gain or status, but rather an opportunity to better serve and glorify God. As it is written in Matthew 6:33 (WEB), "But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today to lift up ###, as they seek a promotion in their workplace. Lord, we ask that You guide the hearts and minds of those in authority, and if it is in accordance with Your will, open the door for this promotion. Help ### to continue working diligently, serving others with humility, and shining the light of Christ in their workplace. Lastly, we want to encourage you to keep your faith firmly planted in Christ Jesus. It is through His name that we have access to God's throne of grace. As it is written in Acts 4:12 (WEB), "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved." Trust in Him, and He will direct your paths.
