Prodigal Son ###

Reposting until I can give a praise report of victory!
My son ###, 22, who grew up in a Christian home, gave his life to Jesus as a young boy, was baptized as a young boy, grew up on the mission field where his dad and I still serve. Helped in the ministry and has a pastoring calling on his life since an early age, this calling seemed to have been confirmed by several people through Words of knowledge as he grew up. His dad and I are serving in ###, MX, currently.
### went to ### to attend a Christian university where he met a non-believing girl whom he started to date. He “fell in love” quickly and left school and Jesus. This relationship has destroyed his faith in Jesus. She is very abusive, narcissistic, and hates Christianity. He began self-harm and self-loathing because he can never please her. My husband and I have prayed and prayed constantly for our son to break free from this hold she has had on him. Yet he stays trapped in the fowler's snare. We were given the name jezebel in our prayer time and so have prayed against the spirit of jezebel in her life and our son’s life. He left ### and came to stay with our other son in ### but has maintained a relationship with her through video chats, visits, etc…he has blocked us from his social media and all but ignores our texts. ### plans to go visit this girl, ###, in ### the end of this week- July 27-Aug 1

Heavenly Father,

We come before You today with heavy hearts, lifting up ### to Your throne of grace. Lord, You know every detail of ###'s life and the struggles he is facing. We ask for Your divine intervention in his situation. Your Word tells us in Proverbs 22:6, "Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it." ### was raised in a Christian home, dedicated his life to You, and served faithfully. We hold onto Your promise that the seeds sown in his heart will bear fruit in due season.

Lord, we pray for ###'s deliverance from this toxic relationship. We ask that You break the chains that bind him and set him free. In the name of Jesus, we come against any spirit of Jezebel that may be influencing his life. Your Word in James 4:7 says, "Be subject therefore to God. But resist the devil, and he will flee from you." Help ### to resist the enemy and draw near to You, knowing that You will draw near to him.

Father, we also pray for his emotional and mental healing. Psalm 147:3 reminds us, "He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds." Touch ###'s heart, heal his wounds, and restore his faith in You. Surround him with godly influences and supportive relationships that will encourage him to return to his first love, Jesus Christ.

We lift up ###'s parents and family who are tirelessly praying for him. Strengthen them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, as mentioned in Philippians 4:7. Give them the endurance to continue interceding for ###, trusting that You are at work even when they cannot see it.

Lord, we also ask for wisdom and discernment for ### as he plans to visit ###. Guide his steps, Lord, and protect him from any harm. May Your Holy Spirit convict his heart and lead him back to a path of righteousness.

We stand in faith, believing in Your power to transform and redeem. We look forward to the day when we can share a praise report of victory for ###. In Jesus' mighty name, we pray.

We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
