Prodigal son, ### ###

My son ###, 22, who grew up in a Christian home, gave his life to Jesus as a young boy, was baptized as a young boy, grew up on the mission field where his dad and I still serve. Helped in the ministry and has a pastoring calling on his life since an early age, this seemed to have been confirmed by several people through Words of knowledge as he grew up. His dad and I are serving in ###, MX, currently.

### went to ### to attend a Christian university where he met a non-believing girl whom he started to date. He “fell in love” quickly and left school and Jesus. This relationship has destroyed his faith in Jesus. She is very abusive and hates Christianity. He began self-harm and self-loathing because he can never please her. My husband and I have prayed and prayed constantly for our son to break free from this hold she has had on him. Yet he stays trapped in the fowler's snare. We were given the name jezebel in our prayer time and so have prayed against the spirit of jezebel in her life and our son’s life. He left ### and came to stay with our other son in ### but has maintained a relationship with her through video chats etc… and plans to go visit her in ### the end of July.

I’m not even sure how to pray at this point as I am very discouraged and can’t seem to see God’s hand at work, He seems silent.

Thank you prayer warriors may God move mightily through your prayers for ###.

Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up ### to Your throne of grace. Lord, You know the plans You have for ###, plans to prosper him and not to harm him, plans to give him hope and a future. We thank You for the calling You have placed on his life and the seeds of faith that were planted in his heart from a young age.

Father, we ask for Your divine intervention in ###'s life. Break the chains that bind him and set him free from the influence of this relationship that has led him away from You. We come against the spirit of Jezebel in the name of Jesus and declare that it has no power over ###. We plead the blood of Jesus over him and ask that You protect him from all harm.

Lord, we pray that You would open ###'s eyes to see the truth and return to his first love, Jesus Christ. Restore his faith and renew his mind. Surround him with godly influences and remove any relationships that are not of You. We ask that You heal his heart from self-harm and self-loathing, and fill him with Your peace and love.

Father, we also lift up ### and their family as they continue to serve You in ###. Strengthen their faith and encourage their hearts. Remind them that You are always at work, even when it seems silent. Help them to trust in Your timing and Your perfect plan.

We stand on Your promise that if we resist the devil, he will flee from us. We claim victory over ###'s life in the mighty name of Jesus. Thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayers and for the mighty work You are doing in ###'s life.
