Another Word To All Cities.
Yesterday, I had an unfortunate exchange with yet another big strong man, who seemed to sum up the obvious attitude of this city towards me. He screamed out at me: "You need to take your a** back to wherever you came from!" I responded (yes, I responded), "I am from this city." He said, smirkingly, "I can't tell." Again, I responded, "Neither can I, hometown."
Jeremiah 38:4 MSG These officials told the king, “Please, kill this man. He’s got to go! He’s ruining the resolve of the soldiers who are still left in the city, as well as the people themselves, by spreading these words. This man isn’t looking after the good of this people. He’s trying to ruin us!”
Pay attention fellow Christian—Satan is a liar. He offers to lift the gentle yoke of the Lord. He expresses “outrage” that the Lord should require any suffering or discipline from us. He “takes our side” and utters a complaint on our behalf. But he is a liar and a fraud. And once we let him lift the wooden yoke he locks us in an iron yoke. Do not forsake the wooden yoke of the cross! For if you do, an iron yoke is sure to follow—soon!
It is a simple pearl of wisdom, yet it is so often ignored: By breaking a wooden yoke, you forge an iron yoke! (Jeremiah 28:13)

Satan didn't create anything good and wonderful, but he always dangles the enticing carrots of our hearts desires to interfere with God's processes. He tried it with Jesus, and he has perpetrated his foolishness throughout the earth. But, the Word of God stands:
Matthew 4:4 Jesus answered, “It is written: ‘Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God."'
Just because someone promises you nice things, speaks well of you, or agrees with you, that doesn't mean they intend you good.
