We are lifting up ###, ###, and ### before the throne of grace, seeking God's will for their lives. We are reminded of the words of Jesus in John 16:33 WEB, "I have told you these things, that in me you may have peace. In the world you have oppression; but cheer up! I have overcome the world."
Firstly, we notice that the request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Also, there is no other name by which we can be saved. Acts 4:12 says "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved!" We are also told in John 14:6 "Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." We encourage anyone who does not have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, to repent of sin, confess Jesus as Lord, believe that Jesus was crucified and was resurrected from the grave to sit at the right hand of God until the time He returns. Trust the Holy Spirit to change you and enable you to do His will on earth. Confess Jesus as your personal Lord and saviour and only accept the Holy Spirit of God as your leader and guide. Please see the Acts 2:38-39 "Peter said to them, “Repent, and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. For the promise is to you, and to your children, and to all who are far off, even as many as the Lord our God will call.”" We understand that this message does not apply to us all, but ask that you spread it to others to reconcile them to Christ.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up ###, ###, and ###. We ask that You would help them in their struggles and problems, and guide them in their lives. We pray that You would give them the peace that only You can provide, and that they would find their strength and hope in You.
Lord, we ask that You would reveal Yourself to them in a very real and personal way, and that they would come to know You as their Lord and Savior if they don't already. We pray that You would guide them in their decisions, and that they would seek Your will for their lives above all else. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
We encourage ###, ###, and ### to trust in the Lord with all their heart, and lean not on their own understanding. To acknowledge Him in all their ways, and trust that He will direct their paths according to Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB.
We also encourage them to be strong and courageous, and to not be afraid or terrified, for the Lord their God will be with them wherever they go, according to Joshua 1:9 WEB.
Lastly, we encourage them to cast all their anxieties on Him, because He cares for them according to 1 Peter 5:7 WEB.
We are here for you, ###, ###, and ###. We are praying for you and believing for God's best in your lives. Keep trusting in Him, and keep seeking His will for your lives.
