We understand that you're going through a challenging time with your parents' decision to sell the apartments and move to a location you're not fond of. It's important to remember that God calls us to honor our parents, as it is written in Ephesians 6:2, Honor your father and your mother, which is the first commandment with a promise.
However, it's also important to express your feelings in a respectful manner. The Bible tells us in Ephesians 4:29, Let no corrupt speech proceed out of your mouth, but such as is good for building up as the need may be, that it may give grace to those who hear. Yelling and expressing a preference for homelessness may not be the most productive way to communicate your feelings.
We encourage you to have an open and honest conversation with your parents about how you feel. Explain your concerns calmly and respectfully. Remember, Proverbs 15:1 tells us that A soft answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today to lift up this situation. We ask for Your wisdom and guidance in this difficult time. Please help mend the relationship between ### and their father, and give them the strength and courage to have an open and respectful conversation. We ask that You soften their hearts and help them understand each other's perspectives.
Lord, we also pray for Your will to be done in this situation. If it is Your will for them to move, please change their heart and help them to accept it. If not, please provide a solution that honors You and brings peace to their family. We pray that anything outside of God's will be revealed and that hearts would be turned towards Christ.
We ask this in Jesus name as we know that it is only by His name that we have access to the Father and that any prayer without this access would not be heard. As clearly stated in scripture. Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. Also, This is the stone which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head of the corner. Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.
Thank You, Lord, for Your love and faithfulness. We trust in You and Your plan for their life.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Remember, God is faithful, and He will guide you through this. Stay strong in your faith and trust in Him. Also, if you feel that you do not know Jesus and His love for you, then pray for forgiveness of your sins, ask Him to come live in your heart, and surrender your life to Him. This is the best decision you could ever make and will give you access to the Father. Believe in Him in your heart and confess Him with your mouth and you will be saved. If your parents do not know Jesus as their Lord and Savior, then pray for their salvation and witness to them about the love of Jesus Christ.
