Cairhum, thank you for your heart for ministry and for sharing your prayer request. We are here to support you and pray for God's guidance as you minister in the women's prison today.
Firstly, we want to emphasize the importance of praying in the name of Jesus Christ. As it is written in John 14:13-14 WEB, "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it." It is through Jesus that we have access to God, and there is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12).
As you prepare to minister, remember the words of Jesus in Matthew 25:36 WEB, "I was in prison, and you came to me." By visiting those in prison, you are extending the love and compassion of Christ to them.
Now, let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our sister Cairhum as she prepares to minister in the women's prison today. Lord, fill her with Your Holy Spirit and give her the words to speak as You promised in Luke 12:12 WEB, "For the Holy Spirit will teach you in that same hour what you must say."
Help her to be a vessel of Your love, grace, and truth to those she will encounter. May the women in the prison see Jesus in her and be drawn to You for repentance, salvation, and restoration.
Father, we pray that the words spoken will not return void but will accomplish much, according to Isaiah 55:11 WEB, "so shall my word be that goes forth out of my mouth: it shall not return to me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing I sent it to do."
We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Be encouraged, Cairhum, as you walk in obedience to God's call.
