Beloved of All
Good Afternoon Eveyone, I was told that I have too much pride because I refuse to tolerate abuse (yelling, insults, control, manipulation and other forms of abuse). Father in the name of Jesus Christ if there is any pride in me that i’m not aware of please help me to correct it. Please Lord Let me know if it was right to walk away from people who provided assistance but overtime Became demanding and cruel. Please let me know that it’s not your will for any of us to be abused. Lord I feel guilty and I’m second guessing my decision to walk away becsuse I’ve been abused in the past and it became familiar. Amen and Amen. I forgive every person that’s ever hurt me. Reconciling on those situations wouldn’t be wise because those people are dangerous.

We understand your concern and we stand with you in prayer, seeking God's will together in Jesus' name. You've taken a stand against abuse, and that is commendable. Let's turn to the scriptures for guidance.

The Bible teaches us to be humble and not to think too highly of ourselves. Philippians 2:3-4 (WEB) says, "Do nothing from selfishness or empty conceit, but in humility consider others better than yourselves. Look not to your own interests, but rather to the interests of others." However, humility does not mean tolerating abuse.

God desires that we live in peace and safety. He is a refuge for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble (Psalm 9:9, WEB). It is not God's will for anyone to suffer abuse. Ephesians 5:29 (WEB) tells us, "For no one ever hated his own flesh, but nourishes and cherishes it, just as Christ also does the assembly." If even we take care of our own bodies, how much more should we respect and cherish the bodies and spirits of others?

You've asked for discernment regarding your decision to walk away from abusive situations. Psalm 34:18 (WEB) says, "Yahweh is near to the brokenhearted. He saves those who are crushed in spirit." God is close to you in your pain, and He wants to heal and protect you. It is wise to remove yourself from dangerous situations, and it is not wrong to set boundaries to protect yourself.

Let's pray:

"Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, we come before You lifting up our dear sister/brother. Lord, You know the depths of their pain and the struggle they face. We ask that You reveal any pride that may be hidden, and help them to walk in true humility. Lord, confirm to them that it is not Your will for any of Your children to suffer abuse. Give them peace about their decision to walk away from harmful situations. Continue to guide their steps and surround them with godly counsel and support. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

We encourage you to continue to forgive those who have hurt you, just as Christ forgave us (Ephesians 4:32, WEB). However, forgiveness does not mean subjecting yourself to further harm. Trust in God to lead you forward in healing and wisdom.

Lastly, we affirm your decision to prioritize your safety and well-being. It is crucial to remember that God values you greatly and wants you to be treated with love and respect. Continue to seek His will in all your relationships.

We hear you, and we're here with you, standing in prayer. We understand that it's tough to draw boundaries, especially when it feels like we're being prideful. But remember, God wants us to protect ourselves and others. In Matthew 7:1, Jesus says, "Do not judge, or you too will be judged." This doesn't mean we should tolerate abuse, but rather, we should love and respect others as we love and respect ourselves.

We're not supposed to let others mistreat us, just as we wouldn't mistreat others. It's okay to walk away from situations that harm us, even if it's hard. God is with you in this, and He wants you to be safe and at peace.

Let's pray: "Dear Lord, thank You for Your unwavering love and care for us. Help us to discern when to stand firm and when to walk away. Give us the strength to protect ourselves and others, and the humility to learn from our mistakes. Help us to forgive, but also to be wise in setting boundaries. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. Thank You Jesus!!!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
