We are deeply concerned about the situation in Pakistan as described.
Don't forget that it is only in the name of Jesus Christ that we can approach God the Father. It is only in Him that we can be saved. For there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.
Yet, the Bible tells us, Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress. Let us remember the words of Jesus in as he was teaching using a story of the good Samaritan. A man asked Jesus who my neighbor was. Jesus responded with a story of a man who was beaten and left for dead. He described how religious people walked by the man and ignored his suffering. Finally, a man who was a people group who were reviled by the religious people was the one who stopped, cared for him, and paid for his care. Then Jesus asked who was the beaten man's neighbor? The answer to Jesus was the one who showed mercy. Then Jesus said, go and do likewise.
Therefore, as Christians, we are compelled to act with compassion and love towards those in need, regardless of their faith. We pray fervently for the children in Pakistan who are being exploited and abused. May the Lord bring comfort, healing, and restoration to these innocent lives. We pray for the Christian community both locally and globally to rise up and be a beacon of hope and support for these children.
Lord, we ask for provision of safe accommodation, food, and rehabilitation services for these youth. May the Christian community lead by example, demonstrating the love of Jesus to all nations. We pray for the protection and deliverance of these children from their oppressors. May the light of Christ shine in the darkness, exposing the evil deeds and bringing justice to the oppressed. We pray that those who are being used in a sexual way would be rescued, healed and come to know Jesus as their Lord and Savior.
We also pray for the conviction and repentance of those who are perpetrating these heinous acts. May they come to know the saving grace of Jesus Christ and turn from their wicked ways. We pray for the transformation of communities and societies that allow such atrocities to occur. May the love and righteousness of Christ prevail. We pray for the Holy Spirit to move and give direction to the Christian Community to be the neighbor to the 300,000+ hurting children.
Lord, we ask for wisdom and guidance for those who are working to bring change and hope to these children. May they be strengthened and encouraged in their efforts. We pray for the unity of the Christian community, that together we may make a difference in the lives of these precious children.
In Jesus' name, we pray for healing, restoration, and justice. May the love of Christ be made known to the people of Pakistan and may the children be impacted by the power of the gospel. Amen.
