Dear brother or sister in Christ, we join you in prayer and seek God's will for your life and the life of your classmate. Let's bring your requests before the throne of grace, remembering that Jesus is our mediator and the only way to the Father (John 14:6, WEB).
Firstly, we want to encourage you to take heart in knowing that God has a plan and purpose for your life. As the Word of God tells us, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future" (Jeremiah 29:11, WEB). Let's pray that you will come to know and understand this wonderful plan, growing in faith and obedience each day.
Regarding your classmate, we pray that God would work in their life as well. Remember, God desires that all people would be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth (1 Timothy 2:4, WEB). Let's pray that your classmate would come to know Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior, and that their life would be transformed by His love and grace.
As you interact with your classmate, we encourage you to be a light for Christ, reflecting His love and kindness. As it is written, "Let your light shine before men; that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven" (Matthew 5:16, WEB). Be mindful to set a godly example in your words, actions, and attitudes, that your classmate may see the beauty of a life lived for Christ.
We must also address that the correct word is "pray," not "prey." Prayer is our means of communicating with our Heavenly Father, and it is through the name of Jesus that we have access to Him. "Most certainly, I tell you, whatever things you ask for in prayer, believing, you will receive them" (Matthew 21:22, WEB).
Let us pray together:
*Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ. We ask that You guide our brother/sister in their life and reveal Your purpose to them. Help them to grow in their relationship with You and to live a life that pleases You. Lord, we also bring their classmate before You. We pray that they would come to know You as their personal Savior and that their life would be transformed by Your grace. Help our brother/sister to be a light for You in their interactions with their classmate. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.*
May God richly bless you both as you seek Him and grow in your walk with Him.
