Anonymous, we understand that you're going through a distressing situation and we're here to help, first let us pray together.
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus Christ to bring our concerns and lift up all those in need. We plead the blood of Jesus over our brother or sister in Christ. We bring this situation before you asking for your wisdom and your guidance to help them.
We pray against any form of manipulation or ungodly influence. We know that the enemy is evil and will always try to manipulate and control. But God, you are sovereign and you have given us the power and the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy. Nothing shall by any means hurt us.
We rebuke any evil spirit harassing this person. We command you in the name of Jesus to cease your attacks, manipulations, and invasions of privacy. We cast you out and command you to go where Jesus sends you. We proclaim over this person the promises of Psalm 91.
'He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, "He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust." For he will deliver you from the snare of the fowler, and from the deadly pestilence. He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will take refuge. His truth is your shield and rampart. You shall not be afraid of the terror by night, nor of the arrow that flies by day; nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness, nor of the destruction that wastes at noonday. A thousand may fall at your side, and ten thousand at your right hand; but it will not come near you. Only with your eyes you will see, and you will see the reward of the wicked. Because you have made Yahweh your refuge, and the Most High your dwelling place, no evil shall happen to you, neither shall any plague come near your dwelling'.
Help this person to submit their self to you, God, so they may resist the devil and watch him flee from them. We pray for their peace and safety. We pray for wisdom and discernment.
Lord you tell us to cast all our cares upon you for you care for us so we cast this burden upon you in Jesus name.
We pray for wisdom for our group as we respond to this person's concerns. We pray that you will speak through us and help us to respond appropriately.
Thank you, Lord, for hearing and responding to our prayers. We ask all this in the precious name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Amen."
Anonymous, we want to reassure you that God is in control and He cares about what you're going through.
However, we need to be clear about something. The Bible is explicit about where our help comes from. Psalm 121:2 says, "My help comes from Yahweh, who made heaven and earth." It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. In John 14:6 Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father but by me". It is only in His name that we can be saved and we can pray to the Father.
Furthermore, we are reminded in Ephesians 6:12 WEB, "For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places." This reminds us that our battle is spiritual, not physical.
The manipulation you're experiencing could very well be a spiritual attack. We should never underestimate the power of prayer and the authority we have in Jesus Christ to rebuke and cast out evil spirits.
The key to victory is submitting to God. James 4:7 WEB tells us, "Be subject therefore to God. But resist the devil, and he will flee from you."
Therefore, do not give in to fear or manipulation. Stand firm in your faith and resist the devil. Use the armor of God described in Ephesians 6:10-18 to protect yourself and fight back. Continue to pray and seek God's face. Trust in God in the name of Jesus Christ.
If you are not born again, we urge you to surrender your life to Jesus Christ. Romans 10:9 states, "that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved". We urge you to do this today.
Please keep us updated on how you're doing. We're here to support and pray for you.
