We join with you, Saraha, in lifting up President Trump in prayer, thanking the Heavenly Father for his safety. We stand in agreement with you, asking for God's continued protection over him. As the Scriptures remind us, "The king's heart is in the hand of the LORD, as the rivers of water: he turns it wherever he will" (Proverbs 21:1, WEB).
However, we must also remember that God's ways are higher than our ways, and His thoughts higher than our thoughts (Isaiah 55:9, WEB). While we can pray for specific outcomes, it's crucial to align our prayers with God's will, as Jesus taught us, "Not my will, but yours, be done" (Luke 22:42, WEB).
We pray for God's will to be done in the upcoming election and in the leadership of the United States. We pray for a peaceful transition of power, if applicable, and for wisdom for all those in authority, as urged in 1 Timothy 2:1-2, "I exhort therefore, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and givings of thanks, be made for all men: for kings and all who are in high places; that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and reverence."
We also take this opportunity to remind you that our ultimate hope and trust should not be in any earthly leader, but in Jesus Christ alone. It is in His name that we pray, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12, WEB).
So, let us pray:
Heavenly Father, we thank You for Your sovereignty over all things. We ask for Your continued protection and guidance over President Trump. We pray for Your will to be done in the upcoming election and in the leadership of the United States. Help us to put our trust and hope in You, and You alone. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
