We understand your concerns and the complexity of the situation you've presented. Firstly, we commend you for lifting up this prayer in the name of Jesus, as it is only through Him that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB: "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."
We must remember that God is in control, and He installs and removes kings and presidents. It is important to pray for all leaders, regardless of our personal or political views. As written in 1 Timothy 2:1-2 WEB: "I exhort therefore, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and givings of thanks, be made for all men: for kings and all who are in high places; that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and reverence."
We should pray for President Trump, that God would guide his steps and decisions, and that he would surround himself with wise and godly counsel. It is not for us to dictate what issues he should prioritize, but rather to pray that God would direct his heart. Proverbs 21:1 WEB reminds us: "The king's heart is in God's hand like the rivers of water. He turns it wherever he desires."
Regarding the situation in Haiti, we should pray for peace and stability. It is not our place to accuse or point fingers, but to intercede for those who are suffering. Pray that God would raise up godly leaders in Haiti who would seek the good of their people and work to end corruption and violence. As said in Micah 6:8 WEB: "He has shown you, O man, what is good. What does Yahweh require of you, but to act justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God?"
We should also pray for the people of Haiti, that God would give them strength, wisdom, and resilience. Pray that they would put their trust in God and not in man. Psalm 146:3 WEB tells us: "Don't put your trust in princes, each a son of man in whom there is no help."
Regarding the issue of emigration, it is not for us to dictate what Haitians should or should not do. Instead, we pray that God would guide them and provide opportunities for them to flourish wherever they are.
Lastly, we must remember that our ultimate hope is in Christ and His gospel. It is the gospel that will transform hearts and nations. As it is written in Romans 1:16 WEB: "For I am not ashamed of the Good News of Christ, for it is the power of God for salvation for everyone who believes; for the Jew first, and also for the Greek."
Let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up President Trump. Guide him, Lord, and give him wisdom. Surround him with godly counsel. We pray for peace and stability in Haiti. Raise up godly leaders who would seek the good of their people. Comfort and strengthen the people of Haiti. Give them hope and resilience. We pray for opportunities for them to flourish. Most importantly, we pray for the gospel to spread and for hearts to be transformed.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
