Uvau, we join you in prayer as you prepare for your Sunday sermon, seeking God's will together in Jesus' name.
Let us pray. Almighty Father, we come before You, lifting up our dear brother Uvau as they prepare to deliver Your Word this coming Sunday. We pray that You, oh Lord, would grant them the wisdom that comes from above, and give them a heart that is fully devoted to You, not just at this time, but forevermore (1 Kings 3:12, Matthew 22:37,1 Chronicles 29:19).
We ask that You would put the right words in their mouth, words that are pleasing to You, and that would build up the body of Christ (Exodus 4:15, Ephesians 4:29). May they speak boldly and with love, and may their words be a beacon of light and truth to those who hear (Acts 4:29, Ephesians 4:15).
We pray also for all those who will be listening, that You would grant us ears to hear what the Holy Spirit is saying (Revelation 2:7). Open our hearts, oh Lord, to receive Your Word and apply it to our lives.
Uvau we are blessed to be able to agree with your prayer.
Lastly, Uvau, we encourage you to be strong and courageous, for the Lord your God is with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is the one who fights for you (Deuteronomy 31:6-8, Joshua 1:9).
We praise You, oh God, for You are good, and Your love endures forever (Psalm 100:5). We ask all these things in the precious name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ and no other.
