We are with you in spirit, lifting up your daughter and her husband before the throne of grace. Let us first remember that God is the giver of life and the source of all comfort and healing. Psalm 139:13-14 reminds us, "For you formed my inward parts. You knit me together in my mother's womb. I will give thanks to you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made."
As your daughter goes through this journey, let us pray for her health and the health of her baby. "Behold, children are a heritage of Yahweh. The fruit of the womb is his reward" Psalm 127:3. We pray for her anxiety and nervousness, that the Lord would grant her a sound mind and replace her fears with peace. "Don’t be anxious for anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." Philippians 4:6-7. We pray that she would not fear the possibility of sickness or any complications, but that she would trust in the Lord's goodness and mercy.
We also lift up her husband, thanking God for his support and love. We pray that he would continue to be a source of strength and encouragement to your daughter. "Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly, and gave himself up for it;" Ephesians 5:25.
Let us also remember that God is in control of all things, and that He has a plan and a purpose for your daughter, her husband, and their baby. "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future." Jeremiah 29:11.
Finally, we pray that your daughter and her husband would fix their eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith.
Dear Lord,
We come before You today, lifting up this precious daughter and her husband to You. We thank You for the new life that is growing within her, and we ask that You would watch over and protect both her and her baby. We pray for her appointment today, that all would go well and that she would receive positive news.
We also pray for her health, Lord. We ask that You would heal her body and take away her anxiety and nervousness. We pray that You would fill her with Your peace, and that she would trust in Your goodness and mercy.
We thank You for her husband, Lord, and we ask that You would continue to use him to support and encourage his wife. We pray that their marriage would be strengthened through this journey, and that they would draw closer to each other and to You.
In all things, Lord, we ask that Your will would be done. We trust in Your plan and Your purpose for their lives, and we ask that You would guide them and lead them in Your truth. We pray this in Jesus Christ name.
