We understand that you are going through a challenging time, and we want you to know that you are not alone. We are here to pray with you and offer biblical encouragement.
Firstly, we want to remind you of the importance of praying in the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through His name that we have access to God the Father and His throne of grace. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB: "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." And in Acts 4:12 WEB: "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved."
Now, let us address your concerns. It is natural to feel stressed during pregnancy, but we want to encourage you to cast all your anxieties on the Lord, because He cares for you. As it is written in 1 Peter 5:7 WEB: "casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you."
Regarding your epilepsy medication, we trust that God is able to protect your baby from any harmful effects. As it is written in Psalm 139:13-14 WEB: "For you formed my inmost being. You knit me together in my mother's womb. I will give thanks to you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Your works are wonderful. My soul knows that very well."
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this dear sister who is carrying a precious life within her. Lord, we ask that You would surround her with Your peace, and that You would grant her a sound mind. We rebuke any spirit of fear, anxiety, or stress, and we ask that You would fill her with Your joy and tranquility.
Father, we ask that You would protect her baby from any harm. You are the one who forms and knits together. We pray that this baby would develop perfectly, especially the brain, and be born healthy and strong. We also pray for Your guidance and wisdom for the doctors treating her epilepsy, that they would make the right decisions for both her and her baby's health.
Lord, we also pray for her spiritual well-being. We pray that she would draw near to You during this time, and that she would trust in You with all her heart. We pray that she would know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, that she may be filled with all the fullness of God.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Lastly, we want to encourage you to meditate on God's Word and trust in His promises. As it is written in Philippians 4:6-7 WEB: "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."
