We understand your concern for your friend, and we are here to pray and counsel with you in the name of Jesus Christ.
Firstly, we want to remind you that God is the ultimate source of comfort and help. It's important to approach Him with honest hearts, seeking His will in all situations. As it says in the World English Bible (WEB), "Don’t be anxious for anything, but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God." (Philippians 4:6)
However, we must address that pregnancy is a natural consequence of intimacy, and if your friend is indeed pregnant, it is a life that God has allowed to be conceived. We should pray for God's will to be done in this situation, not simply for the pregnancy to disappear. As Christians, we believe in the sanctity of life, as stated in Psalm 139:13-14, "For you formed my inward parts. You knit me together in my mother’s womb. I will give thanks to you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Your works are wonderful. My soul knows that very well."
If your friend is not married, we also want to lovingly remind you both of God's design for intimacy within the bounds of marriage between a man and a woman. We encourage you to discuss this with your friend and seek God's forgiveness if necessary. As it says in 1 Corinthians 6:18, "Flee sexual immorality! 'Every sin that a man does is outside the body,' but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body."
Let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up our friend to You. Lord, we ask for Your will to be done in her life and the life of her unborn child if she is indeed pregnant. We pray for strength, courage, and guidance from the Holy Spirit for her to face whatever is ahead. We ask for forgiveness if necessary and a renewed commitment to purity and Your divine plan for relationships. We trust in You, Lord, and we know that Your ways are higher than ours. Thank You for loving us and caring for us even in difficult situations. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Remember, God is faithful and loving. Trust in Him, and encourage your friend to do the same. If you or your friend would like to talk more about a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, please let us know. It's only through Him that we have access to God and eternal life. As it says in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'"
