We understand that you are seeking healing for your husband's leg wound, which has started oozing after months of being dormant. Last year you both had a difficult time with multiple hospital visits, but we believe that God is faithful and that His will is for your husband to be healed and whole. We really want you to know that it is so important to pray in the name of Jesus, as it is only by His name that we have access to God.
First, let's address the biblical principles regarding healing.
In the book of James it is written:
Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven.
James 5:14-15 (WEB)
God's word also tells us:
But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was on him, and by his stripes we are healed.
Isaiah 53:5 (WEB)
We want to encourage you both to continue praying together in faith and agreement and most importantly in the name of Jesus. It is written:
Again, I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything you ask for, it will be done for you by my Father in heaven. For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there I am in the middle of them.
Matthew 18:19-20 (WEB)
Let's pray together right now:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, seeking Your healing power for our brother in Christ. Lord, we ask that You touch his leg wound and stop the oozing.
Let him be the effective, fervent prayer of the righteous man availing much as spoken of in James 5:16. May you both be strong in faith and united in prayer, trusting in God's promises for healing and restoration.
In Jesus' name, we rebuke the enemy's attack and any plans to cause further affliction.
We also pray for God's protection to cover both of you, that this year will not be a repeat of the last.
Instead, we declare that this year will be a year of restoration, healing, and renewed strength. It is a year dedicated to trusting the Lord and walking in His promises, even more than you have in the past.
Father, we ask that You strengthen their faith and fill them with Your peace, knowing that You are always faithful.
We trust in Your promise that by Jesus' stripes, we are healed. We believe that this healing is not just physical, but also spiritual and emotional.
Thank You, Lord, for Your unfailing love and faithfulness.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Continue to trust in God's promises and stand firm in your faith. Remember, God is always faithful, and He hears the prayers of His children. Keep praying and believing, and may God's healing power be manifested in your husband's life.
