Concerning your fiancé, Michael Mixon, we pray that the Lord will deliver him from any bondage or negative influence. We stand on the promise in 2 Corinthians 10:4-5, "For the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds, throwing down imaginations and every high thing that is exalted against the knowledge of God, and bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ." We pray that any third-party involvement will be removed and that Michael will return to his family and submit to God's will for his life.
However, we must also address that the power in a relationship lies in its alignment with biblical principles. We encourage you both to pursue godly behaviors and commit to a marriage that honors God. In Ephesians 5:33, we are reminded, "Nevertheless, each of you must also love his own wife even as himself; and let the wife see that she respects her husband." We pray that your relationship will be strengthened and that no weapon formed against it will prosper, as you both commit to God's design for marriage.
