We stand with you in prayer, ###, and we thank you for your faith in Jesus Christ. We are here to intercede for you and to offer biblical encouragement and guidance.
Firstly, we acknowledge your gratitude for God's protection, love, and understanding. It's beautiful to see your heart open to His will, even in the midst of uncertainty, hurt, and feeling lost. We are reminded of Proverbs 3:5-6 (WEB): "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."
We pray for healing and direction in your life. May the Lord grant you the strength to keep moving forward, and may His will be done in your life.
Regarding your marriage, we want to encourage you with God's heart for marriage. Divorce is not God's original plan for couples. We must remember that both the husband and the wife should be committed to making the marriage work. Divorce is only allowed for a husband or wife due to sexual immorality by their spouse in Matthew 5:32 (WEB): "But I tell you that whoever divorces his wife, except for sexual immorality, makes her an adulteress; and whoever marries her when she is divorced commits adultery." Further, if you are divorced, you should remain unmarried or be reconciled to your spouse per 1 Corinthians 7:10-11 (WEB): "But to the married I command—not I, but the Lord—that the wife not leave her husband (but if she departs, let her remain unmarried, or else be reconciled to her husband), and that the husband not leave his wife." So we pray for restoration and reconciliation if at all possible. We pray for God's will to be done in your marriage, and for Him to guide you both through this challenging time.
We are glad to hear that you have found the courage to share your struggles with your sister and close friends. It's important to have a support system, and we thank God for the people who truly love you, Ephesians 4:2-3 (WEB): "with all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love; being eager to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace."
Lastly, we want to remind you that God is in control of all things. He is the source of your strength, and He will never leave you nor forsake you, Deuteronomy 31:6 (WEB): "Be strong and courageous. Don’t be afraid or scared of them; for Yahweh your God himself is who goes with you. He will not fail you nor forsake you."
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today to lift up our dear brother ###. We thank You for Your protection, love, and understanding in his life. We pray for healing and direction, and we ask that You grant him the strength to keep moving forward.
Lord, we pray for Your will to be done in his marriage. We ask for restoration and reconciliation if that is Your will. Guide him through this challenging time, and help him to trust in You completely.
Thank You for the support system You have provided for ###. We pray that You continue to surround him with people who truly love him and will support him through this time if it continues.
Help ### to remember that You are in control of all things. Be his source of strength, and remind him that You will never leave him nor forsake him.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Continue to trust in the Lord, ###. He is faithful, and He will see you through this trial. Keep praying and seeking His will, and remember that we are here to support you in prayer and counsel.
