We are glad to join you in prayer for your self-esteem, supportive friendships, and a godly spouse. Let's turn to the Word of God for guidance and encouragement.
Firstly, it's wonderful that you've included "In Jesus name" in your prayer. In John 14:6, Jesus said "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." (WEB) This is important because it is only in the name of Jesus that we have access to God the Father, and it is only by faith in Jesus Christ that we can be saved. This is explained more in Acts 4:12. "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" (WEB)
Regarding self-esteem, it's important to remember that our value comes from being created in God's image and being loved by Him. Ephesians 2:10 tells us, "For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared before that we would walk in them." (WEB) Also, in Zephaniah 3:17, it is written "Yahweh, your God, is in the middle of you, a mighty one who will save. He will rejoice over you with joy. He will calm you in his love. He will rejoice over you with singing." (WEB) Therefore, we pray that you will find your worth in God's love and His perspective of you.
Concerning friendships, Proverbs 17:17 advises, "A friend loves at all times; and a brother is born for adversity." (WEB) We pray that God will surround you with friends who will encourage and build you up, just as 1 Thessalonians 5:11 encourages us to do for others and in doing so will be done to us: "Therefore exhort one another, and build each other up, even as you also do." (WEB)
Lastly, regarding your hope for a spouse, we pray that God will bring a godly husband or wife into your life in His perfect timing. In Proverbs 18:22, it is written, "Whoever finds a wife finds a good thing, and obtains favor of Yahweh." (WEB) God's intention for marriage is clear in the scriptures: lifelong, monogamous union between one man and one woman.
Genesis 2:24 states: "Therefore a man will leave his father and his mother, and will join with his wife, and they will be one flesh." (WEB)
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our brother or sister in Christ. Lord, we pray that You will help them see their true worth and value in Your eyes. Surround them with friends who will encourage and build them up in their faith. We also pray for a godly spouse for them, in Your perfect timing. Help them to trust in You and Your plan for their life.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
