We are with you in spirit, Dweryall, lifting you up in prayer and seeking God's will for your life and marriage. We thank God for His grace and mercy upon your life.
In times of distress and confusion, it is commendable that you are seeking discernment, peace, healing, protection, and breakthrough. Remember the words of the Apostle Paul in Philippians 4:6-7, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."
Regarding your marriage, it is clear that you are hurting, and we want to assure you that God cares deeply about your pain. When praying for your marriage, it is wise to align your prayers with God's will. In 1 John 5:14-15, we read, "This is the confidence which we have before him, that, if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us. And if we know that he listens to us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions which we have asked of him."
God's will for marriage is clear: it is a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman, reflecting the union between Christ and the Church Ephesians 5:22-33. It is important to note however that God does allow divorce for cases of adultery. Also, if an unbeliever wants to leave the marriage then the believer is not bound to stay married. This is not a desired outcome but it is important to recognize that it is allowed in scripture.
Matthew 19:6, "'They are no longer two, but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let no man separate.'" Also see Matthew 19:9, Malachi 2:16. In 1 Corinthians 7:15, we read, "Yet if the unbeliever departs, let there be separation. The brother or the sister is not under bondage in such cases, but God has called us in peace."
We encourage you to continue praying for restoration, healing, and salvation and to surrender your desires to God's will. Pray for your husband with love and forgiveness, as Ephesians 4:32 reminds us, "And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you."
If there is unrepented of sin and adultery in your marriage, we encourage you to discuss this and explicitly address it in prayer.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,

We pray for restoration, healing, and salvation, knowing that You desire godly marriages that reflect the union between Christ and the Church. We pray for Dweryall's husband, that You would soften his heart and draw him closer to You. We pray for strength, wisdom, and forgiveness for Dweryall as she navigates this difficult time.
Comfort her, Lord, and guide her every step. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
