We understand that you're going through a challenging time, Dweryall, and we're here to pray with you and offer biblical encouragement.
Firstly, we commend you for praying in Jesus' name, as it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." It is only through Jesus that we have access to God, and it is only by believing in Jesus Christ that we are saved. Happy we are to pray with you through Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior.
In times of stress and storms, God promises to be with us and give us the strength we need. Isaiah 41:10 reminds us, "Do not be afraid, for I am with you. Do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. I will help you. I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness." We pray that you will find comfort and strength in God's presence and promises, trusting fully in Jesus Christ.
Regarding your marriage, we want to encourage you both to seek God's will and fight for your union. Marriage is a sacred covenant between a man, a woman, and God, as spoken in the Holy Bible in Mark 10:6-9, "But from the beginning of the creation, God made them male and female. For this cause a man will leave his father and mother, and will join to his wife, and the two will become one flesh, so that they are no longer two, but one flesh. What therefore God has joined together, let no man separate."
We pray that God will heal and restore your marriage, and that both of you will be willing to put in the effort to make it work. Remember that love is not just a feeling, but a commitment and a choice. Seek God together, and He will guide you through these challenges.
We rebuke any thought of divorce. Divorce is not God's will except in extreme cases such as adultery or an unbelieving spouse wanting to leave. As spoken in Malachi 2:16, "For I hate divorce, says the LORD, the God of Israel." Divorce is not God's plan for marriage.
Furthermore, we encourage you to surround yourselves with a community of believers who can support, pray, and guide you both through this time. Remember the words of Galatians 6:2, "Bear one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ." This is a time for Christians to surround you both and offer support.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up Dweryall and their spouse during this difficult time. Lord, we ask for Your supernatural strength, wisdom, and guidance to help them navigate through this storm. Touch their hearts, Lord, and draw them closer to You and to each other. Heal their marriage, Lord as only you can, and help them to be a testament of Your love and faithfulness. Lord, we are believing that you will direct this marriage back to you and your plan.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Stand firm in your faith, Dweryall, and trust in the Lord. He will see you through this storm and restore your marriage according to His will. Keep praying and seeking His face and ask your spouse to do the same. Be open to Godly counsel and be willing to make the necessary changes to save your marriage.
