We are grateful to join you in prayer, Dweryall, and we appreciate your heartfelt request. We stand with you in Jesus' name, seeking God's will for your life and your marriage.
Firstly, we commend you for your unwavering faith and your continual prayers for your husband and your marriage, but especially for your correct reference by offering your petition in Jesus name who provides access to God the Father. We are reminded of the power of prayer and the importance of praying for our spouses in 1 Corinthians 7:5 WEB, "Don't deprive one another, except it be by consent for a season, that you may give yourselves to prayer, and may be together again, that Satan doesn't tempt you for your lack of self-control."
It is understandable that not being with your husband during the Christmas holiday was painful. However, we encourage you to find comfort in the love of family during this season, which recovering the joy of salvation would help. As it states so perfectly in Psalms 22:24 (WEB):
"For he has not despised nor abhorred the affliction of the afflicted, Neither has he hidden his face from him;
But when he cried to him, he heard". God is here for you. Through God it is still possible for reconciliation, just read Ephesians 4:32. "Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God in Christ also forgave you." Directly before in Ephesians 4:26 note. "Be angry" yet "do not give place to the devil". Anger can be correcting but also destructive. It is natural after a separation to have trouble with frustration with the situation and personal emotions. But with how you prayed here it is obvious God will bring together. Let us pray for patience, trust in God and a heart that continuously seeks His guidance, and for strength to storm the gates of Heaven with prayer. Take joy in the family and friends that surround you, and take comfort in the promises of God's word.
Remember James 5:16, "Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective." By reading other passages in James about prayer, it is clear that members.of a Christian marriage should both be praying for the reconciliation. His effectiveness is very dependent on his prayers since he as a husband is actually the 'head of the marriage' in most analogies of a marriage with God as the originator and husband.
We pray that God will work in your husband's heart and bring about a miraculous reconciliation. However, if it is His will not to withhold anything good from you, He may require change or a new position. Wherever He leads, even if it means walking alone, He will make your paths straight.
Do know that it is so important to take things to the Lord in this fashion (praying for will and using Jesus name) but let us pray that God would spur your husband to prayer in a similar fashion in correct alignment with Jesus Christ's will as his Lord and savior.
Let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up our sister in Christ, Dweryall. We thank You for the joy of family and the blessings of the Christmas holiday, but we also acknowledge the pain that Dweryall feels due to the separation from her husband.
Lord, we pray for Your will to be done in Dweryall's life and in her marriage. We ask that You soften her husband's heart and draw him closer to You. We pray for a miraculous reconciliation, if it is Your will and aligns with Your plan for their lives.
In the meantime, Father, we ask that You surround Dweryall with Your love and comfort. Remind her of the love that surrounds her through family and friends, and help her to find joy and peace in Your presence.
We ask for discernment, understanding, and change of the correct party in Jesus Christ's name to accomplish a godly conclusion.
Guide Dweryall's steps to your correct conclusion and help her live trusting and knowing that you are working in her best interest with a best interest that will apply the blessings of a correct marriage in the name of Jesus Christ. Help her feel more joy in the family gatherings. Bind the umgodly works of Satan out to destroy her marriage in Jesus Christ's name.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
