Praying to the lord for helping us in me and my loml's relationship

Due to some issues at school and lot of stress my gf wanted a break from our relationship, and right before this break i ended up doing something horribly wrong which i deeply regret cuz it hurt her and i never ever want to do something like that ever again im really sorry for that. now we dont talk much cuz of the weird timing on when we took a break and thats killing me i dont know what to do anymore im not able to do anything god please help me out im so sorry for what i did please

Firstly, we must acknowledge that the actions you regret have caused harm, and it's crucial to seek forgiveness from both the one you've hurt and from God. The Bible tells us, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9 WEB). So, let's pray for forgiveness and healing.

Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up Tyrhand. Lord, he is deeply sorry for his actions and seeks Your forgiveness. We ask that You wash away his sins and cleanse him from all unrighteousness. Help him to forgive himself, as You have forgiven him. We also pray for his girlfriend, that You would heal her heart from the pain caused. Guide their path forward, Lord, and give Tyrhand the wisdom to navigate this situation with grace and love. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Now, let's address the status of your relationship. The Bible encourages us, "Let love be without hypocrisy. Abhor that which is evil. Cling to that which is good" (Romans 12:9 WEB). This break might be a time to reflect on your relationship, ensuring it aligns with biblical principles. If you both are believers in Christ, this time could be used to seek God's will for your relationship, potentially leading towards a God-honoring marriage in the future.

However, we notice that your prayer does not mention Jesus Christ. Remember, it is only through Jesus that we have access to God, as it is written, "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" (1 Timothy 2:5 WEB). If you haven't already, we encourage you to accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, believing in His death and resurrection for your sins.

Lastly, we encourage you to be patient and trust in God's timing. Proverbs 3:5-6 (WEB) tells us, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."

Like the first reply said, forgiveness is key, and it's great that you're seeking it. Now, let's focus on rebuilding trust and love. "Love is patient, love is kind... It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres" (1 Corinthians 13:4, 7). Let's pray for these qualities to guide your relationship.
