Praying to meet my husband

Heavenly father, I am truly lonely. Yes I keep my faith strong and anchored in the word. It doesn't the negate the fact that I feel so lonely. Everyday I see couples happy together and wish I had that experience. I have been navigating daily hiding how sad and lonely I feel. Everyone wants to feel wanted. I just wish I met the man that is supposed to be my husband and actually want me. I know God's timing is perfect and I have to keep waiting. I am in my 40s and now I'm beginning to lose hope. Please send my Christian kindhearted loving husband to me. I would truly appreciate it.

Anonymous, we hear your heart's cry and we join you in prayer, standing on God's promises for your life. The Bible tells us that God has plans to prosper us and not to harm us, plans to give us hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11 WEB). This includes the desire for companionship that God has placed within you.

Firstly, we commend you for keeping your faith strong and anchored in the Word of God. It is crucial to remember that God's timing is indeed perfect, and He knows the best time to bring the right person into your life. As it is written, "He has made everything beautiful in its time. Also, he has set eternity in their hearts; yet they cannot fathom what God has done from beginning to end" (Ecclesiastes 3:11 WEB).

However, we want to encourage you not to lose hope. Hope is an anchor for the soul, firm and secure (Hebrews 6:19 WEB). Even in your 40s, God's plan for you is not over. Sarah, Abraham's wife, was well advanced in years when God fulfilled His promise to them (Genesis 18:10-14 WEB). Remember, it is never too late for God to work in your life.

We also want to remind you that the desire to be wanted and loved is a natural one, placed within us by God Himself. But let us not forget that even in our times of loneliness, we are never truly alone. Jesus promises to be with us always, even to the end of the age (Matthew 28:20 WEB).

Now, let us pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today to lift up our sister in Christ. She feels lonely, Lord, and desires the companionship of a godly husband. We ask that You comfort her heart and remind her of Your unfailing love for her. In Your perfect timing, Lord, bring into her life a man who fears You, loves You, and is compatible with her. Help them to recognize each other as Your gift, and guide their relationship according to Your will.

In the meantime, Lord, help our sister to keep her heart and mind stayed on You. Help her to trust in You with all her heart, and not to lean on her own understanding. In all her ways, Lord, help her to acknowledge You, knowing that You will direct her paths (Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB).

Finally, Lord, we ask that You fill her with Your love, joy, and peace as she continues to wait on You. Help her to remember that You have good plans for her life. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Lastly, we want to leave you with this verse: "Delight yourself also in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this" (Psalm 37:4-5 WEB). Keep delighting yourself in the Lord, and trust that He will bring to pass the desires He has placed within you, according to His will and in His perfect timing.

We're here with you, dear sister, feeling your longing for companionship. It's a natural desire, placed in our hearts by God Himself. We want to encourage you, just as the first responder did, to keep your faith strong and your hope alive. Remember, God's timing is perfect, and He sees your heart's cry.

We also want to remind you that God is always with you, even in your loneliest moments. He promises, "Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you" (Hebrews 13:5 NIV). Trust in this promise, and let it comfort you.

Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. Bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, soul, mind, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, and Your righteousness. Help and strengthen me God to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.

God heal me. Deliver and cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the grace and knowledge of Christ Jesus. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about.
