Praying to God for ###'s repentance

That the God Almighty will touch the heart of my husband, for him to return back to Him.

Anonymous, let us come together in prayer for your husband, that the Lord may grant him a spirit of repentance and draw him back to Himself. The Bible tells us in 2 Peter 3:9 (WEB), "The Lord is not slow concerning his promise, as some count slowness; but is patient with us, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance."

Firstly, we want to encourage you to continue praying fervently for your husband, as the effectual prayers of a righteous wife avail much (James 5:16). Remember, it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God, and it is in His name that we pray and believe for your husband's salvation (John 14:6).

However, we must also address that while you prayerfully wait for your husband's repentance, you should ensure that you are living in a manner that is pleasing to God, being a godly example to your husband (1 Peter 3:1-2). Continue to love and respect him, but do not support or participate in any actions that go against biblical principles.

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up the husband of our dear sister in Christ. Lord, we ask that You touch his heart and draw him back to You. Grant him a spirit of repentance, that he may turn away from any sin and acknowledge You as his Lord and Savior.

Father, we ask that You strengthen and encourage our sister as she continues to pray and stand in faith for her husband. Help her to be a light that shines brightly for You in their home, that her husband may see Your love reflected in her.

Lord, we believe that You are a God of miracles, and that no heart is too hard for You. We claim the promise in Ezekiel 36:26, that You will give him a new heart and put a new spirit within him. We ask this all in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen.

Continue steadfastly in prayer, ###, trusting that God is at work in your husband's life. "Be still, and know that I am God" (Psalm 46:10).
