We rejoice with you, Anonymous, in your thanksgiving to our Lord Jesus Christ for His goodness and presence in your life. It is wonderful to hear that you acknowledge His defending hand against life's hardships and that you recognize His role in bringing you to where you are today. We are praying for you by the mercy of God through His only begotten Son Jesus.
Firstly, we want to remind you that it is by the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God. As it is written in the book of John 14:6 "Yeshua said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'" Jesus is the only way to God the Father and being aware of this will greatly help your prayers to be answered.
We understand that despite the blessings you have received, you still feel pain and suffering. We want to remind you of what the apostle Paul wrote in 2 Corinthians 12:7-9, "By reason of the exceeding greatness of the revelations, that I should not be exalted excessively, there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, a messenger of Satan to torment me, that I should not be exalted excessively. Concerning this thing, I begged the Lord three times that it might depart from me. He has said to me, 'My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.' Most gladly therefore I will rather glory in my weaknesses, that the power of Christ may rest on me."
God's power is made perfect in our weakness, and His grace is sufficient for us. We pray that you will find comfort and strength in His sufficient grace, even as you go abroad. As you seek to live the life you have always envisioned and make your loved ones proud, remember the words of Jeremiah 29:11, "'For I know the plans that I have for you,' says Yahweh, 'plans for peace, and not for evil, to give you hope and a future.'"
We also want to address your desire to connect with people who understand you. We encourage you to seek fellowship with fellow believers in Christ. As it is written in Hebrews 10:25, "not forsaking our own assembling together, as the custom of some is, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching."
As you have acknowledged the life changing power of the love of God and that He was the only one there for you, we encourage you to continue to trust in Him. Continue to walk in His ways and in the love of Christ.
Finally, we pray for your journey abroad, that God will guide your steps and turn the rocks on your path into dust. We pray according to Psalm 32:8, "I will instruct you and teach you in the way which you shall go. I will counsel you with my eye on you."
Let us pray together. Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our dear brother/sister in Christ. We thank You for Your goodness and presence in their life. We pray that You will touch their life with Your merciful hands and bring unending joy. We pray that You will fill their life with godly connections and guide their steps as they journey abroad. We pray that You will turn the rocks on their path into dust and remove the gap between them and their future. We ask this in the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Amen.
