We join you in your desire for forgiveness and reconciliation with God. It is written in 1 John 1:9 of the World English Bible (WEB), "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." This promise is sure and steadfast, and it is available to all who come to God through Jesus Christ.
Firstly, we want to ensure that you have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. It is only through His sacrifice on the cross that we have access to God's forgiveness. As it is written in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" If you have not already, confess Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, believing in His resurrection, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9).
Let us pray together:
"Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, asking for Your mercy and forgiveness. We confess our sins to You, knowing that Your word promises that You are faithful and just to forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. Help us to turn away from our sins and to walk in Your ways. Thank You for the sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the cross, through which we have access to Your forgiveness and grace.
