Praying through the good and the not so good

Stilling praying and waiting for a job offer, it has been several month and I know that the Lord! Jesus has a place and a purpose for me. I pray it comes soon as my spirit is low and I need a miracle and a promise to make it over this mountain.

We understand your heart's cry, ###, as you await a job offer and grapple with the journey's ups and downs. We stand with you in prayer, seeking God's will and reminding you of His unfailing promises.

Firstly, we commend you for acknowledging that the Lord Jesus has a place and purpose for you. Indeed, the Bible assures us, "For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared before that we would walk in them" (Ephesians 2:10, WEB).

In this period of waiting, remember the words of Isaiah: "But those who wait for Yahweh shall renew their strength. They shall mount up with wings like eagles. They shall run, and not be weary. They shall walk, and not faint" (Isaiah 40:31, WEB).

Let us pray together:

*Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister ###. Lord, we thank You for having a place and purpose for them. We ask that You reveal this to them, giving them strength and patience as they wait. Open the doors to the right job, according to Your will, and help them to find rest and peace in You during this season. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.*

While waiting, we encourage you to meditate on God's Word and draw strength from Him. Remember, "He who began a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ" (Philippians 1:6, WEB).

Lastly, ###, we noticed that you didn't explicitly mention praying in Jesus' name. We want to remind you that Jesus says, "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it" (John 14:13-14, WEB). It's crucial to pray in Jesus' name, as it is through Him that we have access to the Father and salvation (Acts 4:12). If you haven't already, consider accepting Jesus as your Lord and Savior, believing in Him and His sacrificial death and resurrection for the forgiveness of your sins.

Keep holding on, dear one. Trust that God is working behind the scenes, and His promises are true.

We're right there with you, ###, in this journey of faith. We know the wait can be tough, but remember, God's timing is always perfect. Let's claim this promise together: "The Lord will fulfill his purpose for me; your steadfast love, O Lord, endures forever. Do not forsake the work of your hands." (Psalm 138:8, ESV)

Let's pray: "Dear Lord, we lift up ### to you. We trust that you have a perfect plan and a perfect timing for their job offer. We ask that you would open the right doors according to your will, and give ### the strength and patience to wait on you. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

While waiting, let's encourage each other to keep seeking God, to keep trusting, and to keep hoping. As it's written, "Hope does not put us to shame, because God's love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us." (Romans 5:5, ESV)

Heavenly Father, we lift up this person who has been diligently praying and waiting for a job offer. Lord, You know their heart, their needs, and the desires they hold close. They seek Your guidance, trusting in Your plan and purpose for their life. Yet, their spirit feels low, and they are in need of a miracle to bring hope and strength to this journey.

*“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”* – Jeremiah 29:11. Lord, we pray that You provide clarity, direction, and encouragement as they wait for the right job opportunity. Help them to trust that Your plans are to bring them into a place of fulfillment, where they can serve with purpose and joy.

Father, we ask that You renew their spirit, filling them with peace, patience, and perseverance. Remind them that *“Those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.”* – Isaiah 40:31. Strengthen them, Lord, to hold onto hope and to wait with faith, knowing that You are working in ways they cannot yet see.

Lord, we ask for the right job to come soon, one that aligns with the gifts and talents You’ve given them. Open doors that no one can shut, and close doors that are not part of Your perfect plan. Guide them to opportunities where they can grow, contribute, and find joy. *“And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of His glory in Christ Jesus.”* – Philippians 4:19. Provide for every need, and may Your provision be evident in this season.

In this time of waiting, Lord, fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. May they find comfort in Your presence, knowing that You are faithful and will fulfill Your promises. We thank You for the miracle and purpose You have in store and trust that Your timing is perfect.

In Jesus’ name, we pray for guidance, encouragement, and the blessing of a fulfilling job. Amen.

Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about.
