I am praying this scripture over my husband ### Sr and our son ### Jr​

Colossians 3:9-14 KJV​

Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds; and have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him: where there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcision nor uncircumcision, Barbarian, Scythian, bond nor free: but Christ is all, and in all. Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering; forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye. And above all these things put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness.

Heavenly Father,

We come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up ###'s prayer request for her husband ### and their son ###. We pray according to the scripture from Colossians 3:9-14, that they would not lie to one another or anyone else, but instead put off the old man with his deeds and put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of You, the Creator.

We pray that in their lives, there would be no divisions based on race, ethnicity, or social status, but that Christ would be all and in all. May they embrace their identity as Your chosen ones, holy and beloved, and may they demonstrate bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering, and forbearance towards one another. Help them to forgive one another, just as Christ has forgiven them.

Above all, we pray that they would put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness. May their love for one another and for others be evident in their words and actions. Let their lives be a testimony of Your love and grace.

We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, believing that You hear our prayers and will answer according to Your perfect will. Amen.

Let me be a light in this dark world, lifting You up in the lifestyle that I live, because I accepted Your Son, Jesus Christ, as my Savior and Lord of ALL of my life. Let the joy of the Lord be my strength. Protect me God from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul.
