Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up Porune and their heartfelt prayer request. Lord, we ask that you touch the heart of Porune's wife and soften it towards reconciliation. We pray that she would call with an open heart, ready to mend the brokenness and restore the love and unity in their marriage.
Lord, you are the God of restoration and reconciliation. Your Word reminds us in Mark 10:9 that "what God has joined together, let no one separate." We pray that you would bring healing and restoration to this marriage, that Porune's wife would be drawn back to her husband and their son.
Father, we ask for your guidance and wisdom in this situation. Help Porune to demonstrate love, patience, and understanding towards his wife. Give him the strength to persevere in prayer and to trust in your perfect timing.
We also pray for their son, that he may experience the love and stability of having both parents present in his life. May their family be a reflection of your love and grace.
Lord, we surrender this prayer request to you, knowing that you are able to do exceedingly and abundantly above all that we ask or think. We trust in your faithfulness and believe that you will work in this situation according to your perfect will.

I’m sorry to hear about the situation you’re facing in your marriage, friend. I just said a prayer for you and your wife, asking the Lord to work in your circumstances and bring healing and restoration according to His perfect will. Given what you shared, should you need a listening ear, Focus on the Family has free licensed counselors that you can call at 1-800-A-FAMILY. A friend of mine found them very caring and encouraging. You may also want to check out this link for some helpful resources. I hope you’ll be encouraged by this thought from the psalmist: “The righteous cry out, and the LORD hears them; he delivers them from all their troubles” (Psalm 34:17).
