We are truly sorry to hear that you have been a victim of such a deceitful scheme. First, let us address the emotional and romantic scam that has caused you pain and financial loss. We must remember that God is just and that He hates dishonest scales (Proverbs 11:1 WEB). We pray that those who have taken advantage of you will be brought to justice, but more importantly, that they will come to know the love and forgiveness of Jesus Christ, for we should desire the salvation of all men (1 Timothy 2:3-4 WEB).

In dealing with the financial aspect, we must remember that God is Jehovah-jireh, our provider (Matthew 6:25-34 WEB). We do not know His plan for the return of your funds, but we do know that He will provide for your needs. We pray that if it is His will, your funds will be returned, and that this trial will be used for your good and His glory. We also advise you to take practical steps, working with local authorities or cybercrime units to report this incident and seek resolution.

Let us also remember that God can work all things together for good for those who love Him and are called according to His purpose (Romans 8:28 WEB). While this is a painful experience, use it to grow closer to God.

Now, let us pray:

Almighty God, we come before You, lifting up our brother/sister who has been a victim of deceit. We pray that You will comfort them in this time of need, and that You will guide them through this trial. We ask that if it is Your will, their funds will be returned, and that this experience will be used to draw them closer to You. We also pray for the salvation of those who sought to do them harm. We ask for their eyes to be opened to the truth of the gospel, that they may come to know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. We pray for justice to be served, but also for mercy and forgiveness to abound. We ask all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Lastly, we gently remind you that it is only by the name of Jesus that we can be saved. There is no other name by which we can be saved.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart.
