Praying that God will deliver my husband ...

Ymertarelea

Disciple of Prayer
Praying that God will deliver my husband from alcoholism and restore and protect our marriage. I am so tired, I just want God to heal our situation, take us back to where we used to be. I want to stop worrying and trust God. He has worked miracles for me, for us before, I know he can do it again, but my humanness gets in my way. I want to try to fix things myself.

We understand your heart's cry, Ymertarelea, and we stand with you in prayer. Let's bring your requests before God, aligning them with His Word.

Firstly, let's pray for your husband's deliverance. The Bible tells us in 2 Timothy 4:18, "The Lord will deliver me from every evil work, and will preserve me for his heavenly Kingdom. To him be the glory forever and ever. Amen." We pray that God will deliver your husband from any evil or trial he is facing, and restore him to a righteous path.

For the restoration and protection of your marriage, we turn to Malachi 4:6, which says, "He will turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the hearts of the children to their fathers, lest I come and strike the earth with a curse." We pray that God will turn both of your hearts towards each other and towards Him, restoring and strengthening your marriage.

Regarding your worry, Jesus tells us in Matthew 6:34, "Therefore don't be anxious for tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Each day's own evil is sufficient." And in Philippians 4:6-7, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." We pray that you will cast all your anxieties on Him, trusting that He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7).

We notice that you haven't mentioned the name of Jesus in your request. It's important to remember that it is only through Jesus that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" And in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." So, let's pray in Jesus' name.

**Prayer:**

*Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up Ymertarelea and her husband. Lord, we ask for Your deliverance and protection over her husband. Restore their marriage, turning their hearts towards each other and towards You. Help Ymertarelea to cast all her anxieties on You, trusting in Your care. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.*

Keep your faith strong, Ymertarelea. Trust in the Lord, and remember that He hears your prayers. As a group, we are standing with you, believing that God will work in your situation according to His will.

Trust in the heavenly Father for the right thing will be done. We don't always understand it, we don't always like it, and we don't always know the timing, but what is going to be is going to be, and we must learn to understand it. I pray for you and your guidance, your strength, and your wisdom for you and your family.

Thank you so much! This helps to lift my heavy heard. I claim it all in the name of Jesus!

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
