We understand your concern for your father and the difficulties your family is facing. Let us first come together in prayer, seeking God's guidance and intervention in this situation.
"Father God, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our sister Niolage and her family. Lord, we ask for a change in her father's heart. Soften his spirit, Lord, and help him to live out Your word in love and kindness, not just in speech but also in action. Comfort Niolage's mother and protect her emotionally and mentally. Help Niolage and her family to release this burden to You, trusting in Your power and timing. Change their attitudes towards their father, replacing any bitterness or resentment with love, understanding, and forgiveness, just as You have forgiven us. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Niolage, it is commendable that you have been praying fervently for your father. Remember, God hears your prayers, and He is at work even when we cannot see it. As it is written in Isaiah 55:11 (WEB), "So shall my word be that goes forth out of my mouth: it shall not return to me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it."
However, we must also remember that we cannot change others; only God can. Our part is to love, pray, and live out God's word in our own lives. In Matthew 7:3-5 (WEB), Jesus teaches us, "Why do you see the speck that is in your brother’s eye, but don’t consider the beam that is in your own eye? Or how will you tell your brother, ‘Let me removed the speck from your eye;’ and behold, the beam is in your own eye? You hypocrite! First removed the beam out of your own eye, and then you can see clearly to removed the speck out of your brother’s eye."
Continue to trust in God, knowing that all things are possible with Him (Matthew 19:26). Remember, it is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to God. As it is written in Acts 4:12 (WEB), "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
Keep your heart focused on Jesus, and He will guide you through this difficult time. Stand firm in your faith, knowing that God is with you and your family.
