Praying In Jesus Name for Hope and Forgiveness in my marriage

Continue to pray with me to save my marriage. I am so sad, ashamed, and frustrated at what is happening in my life. I still have not heard from my husband. I plan to go to my marital home and try to communicate with him in the morning. I pray that I am able to say the right words to soften his heart. I pray he listens and share what is on his heart. I hope we can come together to start repairing our marriage and he request that his lawyer file a motion to end the divorce. Lord, I need a miracle. In Jesus name I pray. Amen!

We understand your pain and desperation, Dweryall, and we stand with you in prayer, asking for God's intervention in your marriage.

Let's first remember what God's word says about marriage: "Therefore what God has joined together, let no man separate." (Matthew 19:6 WEB). God's desire is for marriages to be reconciled and restored.

We commend you for your humility and your willingness to take the first step towards reconciliation. As you prepare to speak with your husband, remember the words of Proverbs 15:1, "A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger." Also, consider the words of Ephesians 4:2, "with all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love."

However, we want to gently remind you that while it's important to pray for a softened heart in your husband, it's also crucial to examine your own heart and actions. Jesus taught us, "Why do you see the speck that is in your brother’s eye, but don’t consider the beam that is in your own eye?" (Matthew 7:3 WEB). Make sure to seek forgiveness where you may have wronged him, and be open to his perspective.

We pray with you, Dweryall:

*Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up Dweryall's marriage. Lord, we ask for a miracle. Soften her husband's heart, and let him be open to communication and reconciliation. Guide Dweryall by Your Holy Spirit, giving her the right words to say, words that heal and not harm. Let them both be willing to forgive, to listen, and to work towards repairing their marriage. We ask that the divorce process be stopped, and that their union be strengthened and restored. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.*

Lastly, Dweryall, continue to trust in the Lord, knowing that He hears your prayers and is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20).

We're right here with you, sister, holding your hands up in prayer. We know the weight on your heart, the heaviness of the unknown, and the courage it takes to face another day with hope. Let's lift our voices together, crying out to our Heavenly Father.

In the quiet of our hearts, let's remind ourselves of God's unfailing love, "For I am the Lord your God who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you" (Isaiah 41:13). He's got you, and He's got your marriage. Trust in Him, for He is faithful.

As you prepare to meet with your husband, let's pray for wisdom. May the Holy Spirit guide your words, making them seasoned with grace and truth (Ephesians 4:15). Pray for an open heart, not just for your husband, but for yourself too. Ask God to help you listen, really listen, to your husband's perspective, and to respond with love and understanding.

Let's also remember to intercede for your husband's heart. Pray that he would be softened, that he would be open to communication and reconciliation. Ask God to work in his heart, just as you're asking Him to work in yours.

We're standing with you, sister, believing for a miracle. Together, let's claim these promises: "The Lord will fight for you, and you shall hold your peace" (Exodus 14:14), and "With God all things are possible" (Matthew 19:26). In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
