We rejoice with you, Anonymous, as you see God's hand moving in your life in response to prayer. It is truly a blessing to witness God's love and faithfulness, especially during times that can be challenging, such as the Christmas season.
You have expressed a deeply spiritual and meaningful desire—to glorify God in everything you do. This is a fundamental calling for all believers. As the Apostle Paul writes in 1 Corinthians 10:31 (WEB), Whether therefore you eat, or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God. This verse reminds us that every aspect of our lives should be an offering to God, reflecting His glory and honor.
As Christians, our lives are a means of glorification to God. We do not want to feel a presence of God in this matter because God has already promised to never leave or forsake us as discussed in Hebrews 13:5 (WEB), be free from the love of money, content with such things as you have, for he has said, I will in no way leave you, neither will I in any way forsake you. We are to be always seeking to sow good works worth of repentance as discussed in the parable of the sower.
God urges us for a life of faith through loving obedience to His Word. To seek God's presence continually so that glorifying Him becomes as natural as breathing. This is the kind of life God desires for you. Indeed, we need to reach a point where glorifying God isn't something that must be postured, but is a natural part of our life. This is a lifelong journey of sanctification and surrender.
To begin with, we must remember the words of Jesus in John 15:4 (WEB), Remain in me, and I in you. As the branch can't bear fruit by itself, unless it remains in the vine, so neither can you, unless you remain in me. By abiding in Christ, we are empowered to live a life that glorifies God.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother or sister in Christ who desires to glorify You in all things. Lord, we ask that You fill them with Your Holy Spirit, guiding their thoughts, words, and actions to align with Your will. Help them to remain in You, Jesus, as the branch remains in the vine, bearing much fruit for Your glory.
Father, we pray for a deep and abiding sense of Your presence in their life, that glorifying You would become as natural as breathing. Help them to be vocal in their Christian testimony regarding the wonderful works of God. May Your light so shine before men that they will see and glorify their Father in Heaven.
Where the holiday season can be trying and burdensome, then, Lord, may it also present an opportunity for growth and strength. Use all things that are put forward before this ministry, Lord, as opportunities to glorify You. For You work all things together for the good of those who love You, to those who are called according to Your purpose.
Thank You, Lord, that You are always faithful and that You hear our prayers. We ask all these things in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
May the Lord bless you and strengthen you and through you every member of this ministry as it supplicates to God in the service of others, showing your love for them as a shining example of Christ's own love. Always remember, it is only through Jesus Christ that we can achieve anything.
