We join with you, Salwath, in praying for your son as he faces court on Monday, November 11th. We stand on the promises of God, knowing that His love, mercy, and forgiveness are abundant and everlasting. As it is written in Psalm 103:8-12 (WEB), "Yahweh is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and abundant in loving kindness. He will not always accuse; neither will he stay angry forever. He has not dealt with us according to our sins, nor repaid us for our iniquities. For as the heavens are high above the earth, so great is his loving kindness toward those who fear him. As far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us."
Let us pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up Salwath's son to You. Lord, we ask for Your favor, love, mercy, and forgiveness to manifest in the court proceedings on Monday. We trust that You are a just God, and we claim Your promise that all things work together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28, WEB). We pray for Salwath's son's victory and salvation, that this situation would bring him closer to You, and that he would come to know the saving power of Jesus Christ. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
We encourage you, Salwath, to continue trusting in the Lord, knowing that His ways are higher than our ways, and His thoughts higher than our thoughts (Isaiah 55:8-9, WEB). We also commend you for praying in Jesus' name, as it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and can be saved (John 14:6, WEB). Keep holding onto the promises of God, and we will continue to stand with you in prayer.
