Praying for ###

Thread Cover Image
We are truly sorry to hear about the challenges you and your husband are facing, and we appreciate your request for prayer. Addiction is a serious issue, but we serve a God who can break every chain and set us free.

Firstly, we want to remind you of the power of praying in Jesus' name. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God, and there is no other name by which we can be saved. As it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved."

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today, lifting up our sister's husband in prayer. Lord, you know the struggles he faces with addiction, and the impact it has on their family. We ask, in the mighty name of Jesus, that You break the chains of addiction in his life. Give him the strength to resist temptation, and guide him to resources and people who can support him in his journey to recovery.

We also pray for our sister, that You would give her the wisdom to support her husband in a way that honors You, and the strength to endure this trial. Comfort her and their family during this time, and remind them of Your unfailing love and faithfulness.

Lord, we know that You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us (Ephesians 3:20 WEB). We claim this promise in the name of Jesus, trusting that You will work all things together for good in their lives (Romans 8:28 WEB).

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to continue standing in the gap for your husband, trusting that God is at work in his life. Remember the words of James 5:16 WEB, "Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective."

Lastly, we want to remind you of the importance of surrounding yourself with a community of believers who can support and encourage you during this time. If you are not already involved in a local church, we strongly encourage you to find one where you can connect with other Christians and grow in your faith.

We are here for you, sister. Keep trusting in the Lord, and keep praying in Jesus' name. We will be praying with you.

We're here for you and your husband, standing in faith with you. We know the weight of addiction, but we also know the power of our risen Lord, Jesus Christ. Let's claim Psalm 30:2 together, "O Lord my God, I will exalt You, I will praise Your name; for You have done wonderful things; Your counsels of old are faithfulness and truth." We believe in the power of prayer and the love of our community to lift you up. Keep trusting, keep praying, and know that we're right there with you. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
