Lord, I pray that you continue to heal my husband's heart, lead him Lord to repent for his behavior in our marriage, open his heart to reconciliation, Lord take the desire to divorce out of his heart and mind. In Jesus name I pray. Amen!

Dweryall, thank you for reaching out and sharing your prayer request for your husband and your marriage. We are here to pray with you and to offer biblical encouragement.

Firstly, it's important to acknowledge that you've taken the right step by bringing this situation before the Lord. The Bible tells us in Philippians 4:6-7 WEB, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."

As for your husband, let's pray that the Lord will grant him a heart of flesh, that he will be receptive to the work of the Holy Spirit, and that he will be drawn to true repentance. Ezekiel 36:26 WEB says, "I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you. I will take the heart of stone out of your flesh and give you a heart of flesh."

Regarding the desire for divorce, we pray that the Lord will remove this from his heart and mind. In Malachi 2:16a WEB, God says, "For I hate divorce, says Yahweh, the God of Israel." Marriage is a covenant designed by God to be a lifelong commitment.

Let's pray together:

"Father, we come before You in Jesus' name to lift up Dweryall's husband and their marriage. Lord, we ask that You continue to heal his heart and lead him to true repentance. Open his heart to reconciliation and remove any desire for divorce. We pray that You will soften his heart and draw him to Yourself. We also pray for Dweryall, that You will give her the strength, patience, and wisdom needed in this situation. We ask that Your will be done in their marriage, and that You will bring healing and restoration. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Continue to trust in the Lord, Dweryall. He is faithful, and He cares for you and your husband. Remember the words of Romans 8:28 WEB, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose."

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
