Praying for ###

Genie is a member of my little church. I have a church called the Fire Branch Ministries and it's located in the back of my house just a little building with it, maybe 10-15 people. We minister to the streets to the homeless and the drug addicted! ### has been with me for 10 years now and been faithful, but the past few weeks she's withdrawn from me. I wished her a happy birthday today on messenger Facebook and on her cell phone and she hasn't responded at all and she hasn't been responding to my texts. I'm praying she'll show up for church tomorrow and then respond and then she would open up to me if there's something bothering her. We've always had such a good relationship but now she's so distant from me. Please pray for God to reveal what's going on! I'm hurting really bad right now because of my divorce because of the evil that has been done. Yes, of course, I have forgiven from the depths of my heart, but I think he's with one of the women that used to come to this ministry that I've reached out to in the streets. It hurts my heart. He left me back at December. He's divorcing me and trying to make me sell my house. Please pray for me, pray for my sister ### the most in Jesus' name and ###.

Let's come together in prayer and wisdom for ### and the situation presented.

Firstly, let's address the concern about ###. It's important to remember that our actions should be guided by love and patience, just as God is patient with us. As it is written in Ephesians 4:2-3 (WEB), "with all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love; being eager to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace."

Let's pray for ###:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up ###. We pray that You would reveal to ### the reason behind ###'s withdrawal. We ask that You would soften ###'s heart and help her to open up about any burdens she may be carrying. We claim Your promise in Matthew 11:28-30 (WEB), 'Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart; and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.' Please, Lord, bring restoration and unity to their relationship. In Jesus' name, we pray."

Now, let's address the pain ### is feeling due to the divorce. We must remember that God hates divorce (Malachi 2:16) and that His desire is for husbands and wives to be reconciled in His love. However, we must also acknowledge the pain and heartbreak that comes from such a situation.

Let's pray for ###:

"Dear Lord Jesus, we lift up ### to You. We ask for Your healing touch upon her heart. We pray that she would find comfort and peace in You, even in the midst of this storm. Remind her of Your unfailing love and faithfulness, as promised in Psalm 34:18 (WEB), 'Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit.'

We also pray for her sister ###, that You would be with her, comforting and guiding her in this time of need.

Lastly, we address the issue of forgiveness. While ### has forgiven, it's crucial to remember that forgiveness is not a one-time act but a continuous process. As it is written in Matthew 18:21-22 (WEB), "Then Peter came and said to him, 'Lord, how often shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? Until seven times?' Jesus said to him, 'I don’t tell you until seven times, but, until seventy times seven.'"

Let's pray for continued forgiveness:

"Dear Jesus, we ask that You would continue to heal ###'s heart and help her to forgive as You have forgiven us. Help her to cast all her cares upon You, for You care for her (1 Peter 5:7). In Your precious name, we pray."

We encourage ### to continue ministering with love and kindness, trusting that God is working in every situation, even when it's hard to see. We commend her for her faithfulness and encourage her to keep her eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:2).
