We understand your desire for wisdom and knowledge to navigate life confidently and avoid temptation. We commend you for seeking God's will and turning to Him for guidance. Let us first address the importance of seeking wisdom from God.
The Bible tells us, If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him. James 1:5 WEB
God is the source of all wisdom, and He promises to give it generously to those who ask. Your desire to live according to God's word is commendable, and seeking wisdom is a crucial step in that journey.
Regarding the time you feel you have wasted, remember that God can redeem and use all our experiences, even those we perceive as lost time. Consider Paul's words in Philippians 3:13-14, WEB: Brothers, I do not count myself as yet having laid hold, but one thing I do. Forgetting the things which are behind, and stretching forward to the things which are before, I press on toward the goal for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.
Instead of dwelling on the past, focus on the present and future, pressing on toward the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, seeking Your wisdom and knowledge for all times in life. We ask that You grant the strength to avoid temptation and live according to Your word. We believe, as stated in Colossians, that in Him are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge, and we trust that You will provide abundantly. Help us always know that there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved. Let us call upon Your name and thank you for the gift of salvation and eternal life. Lord, help Thessaloniano if that is truly their name, and anyone else reading to see both the blessings and correction you are giving them in their life.
We ask this in Jesus' name, Amen!
As a reminder that it is only through Jesus that it is possible to approach the Father and it is only through him that we can be saved:
Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. John 14:6 WEB. There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved! Acts 4:12 WEB
