Praying for transformation

I need prayer for my niece and her parents. My teen niece has been lying about everything, she has been stealing a lot of money, she was about to set a grasshopper on fire just for fun when we stopped her and she drinks alcohol and smokes weed. She doesn't feel bad about anything, instead she makes up stories and manipulates everyone around her. She is not disciplined by her parents and when you bring this to the parents attention, she cries and plays victim and then you are blamed for character picking. My niece goes to church but I don't believe she is saved. She has not been accountable but her parents never accept accountability and always deny their own behaviour. Both parents drink a lot. Please God, before it's too late, let you transform their lives, open their eyes to see the truth. My biggest concern is them hearing the words "depart from me, I never knew you".

Let us remember God's promise in 2 Chronicles 7:14, "If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray, and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and will heal their land."

Firstly, we need to pray for your niece. Her behavior and actions are not only sinful but also indicate a deeper spiritual and moral struggle. We must remember that God is the judge, and it is by His grace and mercy that we are saved. Pray that she will come to true repentance and faith in Jesus Christ. In Ephesians 2:8-9, we read, "For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, that no one would boast."

Pray that she will understand the gravity of her sins—lying, stealing, cruelty to animals, and substance abuse—and the need for salvation through Jesus Christ. Remember, "All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God" (Romans 3:23), and "The wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord" (Romans 6:23).

We also need to pray for her parents. Their lack of discipline and accountability, coupled with their own struggles with alcohol, indicates a need for spiritual renewal. Pray that they will be convicted of their own sins and turn to God for forgiveness and guidance. In Proverbs 22:6, we are told, "Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it." Parents have a God-given responsibility to discipline and guide their children in righteousness.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before you in Jesus name, lifting up our niece and her parents. Lord, we ask for your divine intervention in their lives. Open their eyes to see the truth of their sins and the need for your salvation. Convict them of their wrongdoings and draw them to true repentance and faith in Jesus Christ.

For our niece, we pray for a transformation of heart and mind. Help her to see the error of her ways and turn from her sinful behavior. Guide her to make restitution for her wrongdoings and seek forgiveness from those she has hurt. Surround her with godly influences and protect her from the temptations of this world.

For her parents, we pray for wisdom and strength. Help them to see their responsibility in disciplining and guiding their daughter in righteousness. Convict them of their own sins and lead them to repentance and a renewed commitment to you. Break the chains of addiction in their lives and fill them with your Holy Spirit.

Lord, we claim your promise that "if the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed" (John 8:36). We ask for your freedom and transformation in their lives, that they may be saved from eternal separation from you.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to continue praying fervently for your niece and her parents, trusting that God is at work in their lives. Remember, our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms (Ephesians 6:12). Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf for your niece and her parents. We are truly glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer.

As we continue to intercede for them, we pray for a genuine transformation in your niece's life. We ask God to convict her heart, to help her see the truth, and to turn away from her harmful behaviors. We pray that she would find true repentance and salvation in Jesus Christ.

We also lift up her parents, asking God to open their eyes to the reality of their daughter's actions and to the need for discipline and accountability.
