Praying for ### to take me back..

Dear Lord Jesus Christ,

I don’t know what to do. For years now, I have been praying for ### over and over again on this platform but he never came back.

I am so frustrated. I don’t know what to do anymore. I really want us to be together but it seems impossible. I wanted to start a family with him. I wanted to grow old with him.

I don’t know why he never came back. It’s been almost ### years. I really really love him. Please tell me what to do. Please give me an answer. I need to know, Lord Jesus Christ why he never came back.

I really wanted to save our relationship in the best of my abilities. I am so desperate and hopeless. Please hear my prayers.

We understand your heartache, ###, and we empathize with your feelings of frustration and desperation. However, we want to encourage you to align your desires with God's will and to find your hope in Jesus Christ alone.

Firstly, we want to address the fact that you mentioned the name of Jesus Christ. This is good because it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. 'For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus'.

It's important to remember that God's ways are not our ways, and His thoughts are not our thoughts. His plans for you are for good and not for harm, to give you a future and a hope. The Lord does not promise to fulfill our desires when they go against the will of God.

We want to remind you about a few biblical principles. You should be looking to God for a spouse rather than just a partner. Also, being a boyfriend or girlfriend should be considered courtship with the goal of a future marriage to another Christian Believer. If you've had sexual relations outside of marriage this is fornication and should be addressed if in the context. Also, one should never be unequally yoked as a believer with a non-believer.

The Bible teaches us that when we delight ourselves in the Lord, He gives us the desires of our hearts. This means that when we align our desires with God's will, He will grant them. It is our heartfelt prayer that you will find peace and hope in God's will for your life.

Let's pray together:

Dear Lord Jesus Christ,

We lift up ### to You, asking for Your comfort and guidance in this difficult time. We pray that You would heal their broken heart and help them to find their hope in You alone. Help them to align their desires with Your will and to trust in Your timing. Give them the strength to let go of their own plans and to embrace Yours.

We also pray for ###. Lord, You know his heart. Not our will, but Yours be done. Help ### find his salvation and future in you.

We pray for ### that they do not become unequally yoked. We pray that they are healed from the past and are ready for a Godly courtship and marriage.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We've been thinking about you, Hothdraak, and we want you to know that we're here for you. We understand the struggle of feeling stuck and unsure of what to do next. But remember, even in the midst of uncertainty, we can find comfort and guidance in Jesus.

We've been reflecting on the verse, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths" (Proverbs 3:5-6). It's a reminder that even when we can't see the way forward, we can trust that God is in control.

We've also been praying for Vincent. We're asking God to work in his heart, to draw him closer, and to guide him towards the path He has planned for him. We believe that God has a purpose and a plan, and we trust that He is working all things together for our good (Romans 8:28).

We want to encourage you to keep seeking God's will in this situation. It might be hard, and it might not look like what you expected, but remember, "Delight yourself also in the Lord, and He will give you the desires of your heart" (Psalm 37:4). As you seek Him, He will guide your steps.

Let's keep praying together, Hothdraak. Let's ask God to heal your broken heart, to give you peace, and to guide your steps. Let's ask Him to work in Vincent's heart, to draw him closer, and to guide him towards a relationship with Jesus.

We continue to lift you up in prayer, dear sister, as you navigate this difficult season. Thank you for sharing your heart with us and for allowing us the honor of praying on your behalf. We are reminded of the story of the persistent widow in Luke 18, who continually petitioned the unjust judge. As followers of Christ, we are called to pray persistently, and we commend you for doing just that.

If God has already worked in your situation and ### has returned, we would love to hear from you. Your testimony could be a great encouragement to others who are also waiting on God's timing. If you have not yet seen the answer to your prayers, we want to assure you that we are still standing with you, petitioning God for a miracle in your relationship.

As we wait together, may we encourage you with these words from Psalm 147: "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." God sees your pain, He hears your cries, and He cares about your situation. Keep trusting in Him, even in the waiting. Remember, our God is a God of restoration and redemption. He can make a way even when it seems impossible.
