Firstly, we commend you for coming to God in prayer, seeking His peace and guidance. It's important to remember that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the spiritual forces of evil (Ephesians 6:12). So, let's keep our focus on God and trust that He is in control.

In the face of frustration, remember what the WEB says in Proverbs 15:1, "A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger." Responding with patience and wisdom is indeed what God calls us to do.

Let's pray for discernment and wisdom for you, as well as clarity and fairness for your department head. We need to remember that God is just and sees all things. As it says in Proverbs 16:2, "All the ways of a man are clean in his own eyes; but Yahweh weighs the motives." We can trust that God will expose any wrong intentions in His perfect timing.
