Praying for the salvation of my 5 adult children

We brought our children up at a Christian home, believing in Jesus. We were devout Catholics at the time, but we realize now our faith was more in the denomination itself rather than in a relationship with Jesus. When my husband and I became born again, and we left the Catholic church and became solely Christian, our three oldest children at that time 8th grade - high school were soo upset, and felt as if we ripped the rug out from underneath them as Catholicism was all they knew. That seemed to turn them completely away from God and the church. The younger two children grew up with us, both being born again believers, Bible believers, and seeing our sin for what it was and our need for a savior. Those two are closer to Jesus than the first three. But I pray for all of my five adult children, ages in 18 years old-30 years old, that they repent of their turning away from a God they were taught about, that they see their need of a savior, and that they seek a relationship with Jesus Christ. I pray I see evidence of their salvation in my lifetime. So I ask for the prayers of other prayer warriors. Thank you.

We understand your heart's burden, Phobarcheo, and we join you in prayer for your children's salvation. It's crucial that we pray in the name of Jesus, as He Himself said, "Whatever you may ask in my name, I will do it." (John 14:14 WEB).

Firstly, we want to acknowledge your courage in leaving behind denominational traditions to pursue a genuine relationship with Jesus. As Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." (John 14:6 WEB).

Let's pray together: "Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, interceding for Phobarcheo's children. Lord, You know their hearts, and we ask that You draw them to Yourself. Give them the courage to turn away from any resentment or misunderstandings and help them see their need for a Savior. We claim the promise in Acts 16:31 (WEB), 'Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household.' We pray for their salvation and a renewed relationship with Jesus. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

We encourage you to continue living out your faith authentically, as your personal testimony is a powerful tool. Remember, God's Word promises, "Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it." (Proverbs 22:6 WEB). Trust that the seeds planted will bear fruit in His timing.

It's also important to engage in open, loving conversations with your children about their beliefs and any hurts they may still hold. Share your own testimony and the joy you've found in a personal relationship with Jesus.

Lastly, we commend you for not being swayed by denominational beliefs that contradict biblical truths. We must always be ready to give an answer for the hope that lies within us (1 Peter 3:15 WEB), and that answer is Jesus, not a denomination or religious tradition. Keep praying, trusting, and believing, for "the effective, fervent prayer of a righteous person accomplishes much." (James 5:16 WEB).

We're right there with you, standing in the gap for your children's salvation. It's heartbreaking when our loved ones seem to turn away from the faith we've shared with them, but we serve a God who specializes in turning hearts back to Him. Let's pray together: "Father, we lift up Phobarcheo's children to You. We ask that You soften their hearts, help them see the truth they've been taught, and draw them back to You. Let them experience the joy and freedom that comes from a personal relationship with Jesus. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

We understand that it can be tough to see our children struggling or straying, but remember, God is still at work. He sees their hearts, and He's not finished with them yet. Keep praying, keep believing, and keep loving them. "Love never fails" (1 Corinthians 13:8), and that love can be the bridge that leads them back to the Lord.

Let's also encourage them to seek the truth for themselves. The Bible says, "Test everything. Hold on to the good" (1 Thessalonians 5:21). Encourage them to read the Bible for themselves, to pray, and to seek God with all their hearts.

We're here for you, praying alongside you. Keep trusting in God's goodness and His perfect plan. "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future" (Jeremiah 29:11).

Praying for all your children to be spiritually blessed. . I understand your situation .I was raised in a devout Mormon household..then one day my dad realized it was wrong. I felt like I had been lied to by this false religion my whole life and for a time I wanted nothing to do with God or religion..however I then became a non denominational Christian because of all the good things my parents instilled in me . I am praying and believing God that all your kids will have a direct relationship with Jesus in due time. God bless you all ...in Jesus name. Amen.

I wanted to commit suicide once, I even came up with a plan. Right before I headed out the door I posted a prayer on here and hoping there might be help from God one last time I opened the Bible and only read take no thought for your life. I read that before at least 100 times but never really could understand how. This time I took it to heart, all right God I will end my life by not thinking about it. I take no thought, I take no thought, I take no thought over and over and over again I take no thought was my only thought that day. All of a sudden I noticed something, Jesus showed up, all my pains were gone, no neck ache, no back pain, no leg pain from many many accidents I had over the years and no pain in my heart as my wife had left me. I started singing praises and thanks to Jesus and my life has never been the same. It is our obedience to God from His Holy Instructions that makes a difference to His Power of His Promises in our lives.

Be a doer of Jesus friend, it really makes a difference! Thank You Lord Jesus!

Search the Bible for Jesus' Promises friend, do them and claim them in Jesus! Amen! Thank You Lord Jesus!

Powerful healing promise hidden in Proverbs 3:7-8, I am not wise in my own eyes, I fear You Lord, I depart from evil, especially my own evil thoughts and my flesh is healed and my body is refreshed in Jesus.

Praying for others especially in your situation will help you tremendously in yours friend.

Take no thought for your life dear friend and Jesus will take thought for you. Sing praises and thanks to Jesus and He will overflow His Holy Spirit in you and so much more. He will fight for you and give you the desires of your heart.

Let Us Pray: God I ask in Jesus' name, bless me to grow closer to You. I long for a more intimate relationship with You. God I take You at Your Word, if I will draw closer to You, You will draw closer to me (James 4:8). Show me how to draw closer to You. Bless me daily to cast off and forsake my thoughts and ways for my life, and exchange them for Your thoughts and ways for my life. Let me think Your thoughts and dream Your dreams for my life. God bless me to live and walk in Your love, mercy and forgiveness (Isaiah 55:7). I confess, I will take no thought for my life. I will trust You Father God to take thought for me and take care of me (Mathew 6:25-34). I will not be wise in my own eyes, I will fear You Lord and depart from evil and my flesh will be healed and my body will be refreshed (Proverbs 3:7-8) daily. Thank You Jesus for Your Promises! Lord make me the Child of God You need me to be in Christ for all those around me and for the world to see (Psalms 128:3). Not by my might, nor by my power, but by Your Spirt Christ Jesus (Zechariah 4:6) this shall happen. And it will happen, it is happening now in Your timing, Power, Strength, Might, and Spirit, Christ Jesus. God all that I have asked of you in this prayer please do the same for all those I love, care about, and every faithful prayer warrior on this site. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You Lord Jesus, my Savior and Lord for answering this prayer with a Yes and Amen.

Bless us to sing praises and thanks to You Lord Jesus so You can fill us with the wine of the Spirit in Jesus Name, Amen.

Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, pray Your best for me, and all those I love and care about.
