Praying for the People of Florida against Hurricane Milton

Lord Jesus I come before you and ask you to please protect the people of Florida. Please wash then in your blood and keep them safe. Lord Jesus I know that you will have your hand of protection over them as they go through this. Lord I know that not everyone is going to be saved. I know that their will be grieving. But I know that you will be there to comfort them. And you will take those that you have called home into your arms and welcome them. Please Lord. I don't know what else to say to ask for protection for these people. But you have instructed us to have faith in you. I trust you will be there for the People of Florida. Your will be done Lord Jesus. Amen.

Abeloxos, we join you in praying for the people of Florida as they face Hurricane Milton. Let us come together in the name of Jesus Christ, for it is in His name that we have access to the Father (John 14:6, WEB).

Firstly, we want to remind you that God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1, WEB). In times of distress and natural calamities, we can trust in Him to be our stronghold and deliverer.

Let us pray:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, seeking Your divine protection and mercy for the people of Florida. Lord, You are sovereign over the winds and the waves, and we ask that You would calm this storm and minimize its destructive power (Mark 4:39, WEB).

We pray for the safety and well-being of all those in the path of Hurricane Milton. May Your hand of protection be upon them, and may they find comfort and strength in You. Guide them to take wise precautions and evacuate when necessary.

We also pray for the first responders, emergency personnel, and those who will be involved in rescue and relief efforts. Grant them wisdom, courage, and endurance as they serve their communities.

Lord, we know that not everyone will be spared from the effects of this storm. We ask that You would be close to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18, WEB). Comfort those who mourn and draw them near to You.

In the midst of this trial, we pray that many would turn to You, Lord Jesus, and place their faith in You. Use this difficult time to bring people to salvation and to strengthen the faith of Your followers.

In all things, Lord, we trust in Your perfect will. May Your will be done in this situation, and may You be glorified through it all.

Abeloxos, continue to trust in the Lord and His promises. Remember that nothing can separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord (Romans 8:38-39, WEB). Encourage others to pray and seek the Lord, for He is the only true source of hope and salvation.
