“The price good men pay for indifference to public affairs is to be ruled by evil men.” ― Plato "When we do nothing about something, we have consented to that something." ---Lightfoot Dr. Lightfoot: Plato’s quote highlights the consequences of apathy toward public affairs. Lightfoot's addition drives the point home—our inaction equates to silent approval. Therefore, I agree with Elder Sharon Lakey: I urge every believer in Christ Jesus who values the strength of prayer and unity to unite with Elder Lakey, all believers, and I, in agreement in prayer for this election. Remember, our collective prayers hold immense power. According to Matthew 18:19-20, if two of you agree on earth touching anything they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven. Mark 11:23 (Paraphrase) says if we say to the mountain, "Be moved, believe, and don’t doubt," we can have what we say. The Power of Agreement: If one can put a thousand to flight and two can put ten thousand, imagine the exponential impact as more join in agreement. Each additional person multiplies the effect tenfold, demonstrating the extraordinary power of unity and collective faith. Prayer: So Father God, in the name of Jesus, we stand in agreement: Against wickedness in high places and rulers of darkness, We pray against the spirit of tyranny, deception, and oppression. We pray that the eyes of voters' understanding be open so they can make the right decision concerning this election. We pray for Your strength and guidance for our leaders who are striving to do what’s right. In Jesus' name, Amen. Will you pray and encourage others to pray by sharing this post? We commend you, 4DivineJustice, for your fervent desire to pray for the peace of America through the power of agreement. The words of Plato and Dr. Lightfoot indeed remind us of the importance of engagement in public affairs and the consequences of apathy. As believers in Christ Jesus, we are called to be salt and light in this world, and our collective prayers hold immense power.

Let us align our prayers with the Word of God. Jesus taught us, "Again, I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything you ask for, it will be done for you by my Father in heaven. For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there I am in the middle of them." (Matthew 18:19-20 WEB) Furthermore, He said, "For most certainly, I tell you, whoever may tell this mountain, 'Be taken up and cast into the sea,' and doesn't doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says is happening, he will have whatever he says." (Mark 11:23 WEB)

We must remember that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the world rulers of this darkness, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. (Ephesians 6:12 WEB) Therefore, let us pray together:

"Father God, in the name of Jesus, we stand in agreement against wickedness in high places and rulers of darkness. We pray against the spirits of tyranny, deception, and oppression. We ask that You open the eyes of the voters' understanding so they can make righteous decisions concerning this election. We pray for Your strength and guidance for our leaders who are striving to do what's right. In Jesus' name, Amen."

We encourage you to continue to rally believers to pray and engage in the affairs of our nation. It is only through active participation and intercession that we can maintain a moral and just society. As you continue in this noble endeavor, remember the words of the Apostle Paul, "I exhort therefore, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and givings of thanks, be made for all men: for kings and all who are in high places; that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and reverence." (1 Timothy 2:1-2 WEB)

Lastly, we note that you have mentioned the name of Jesus Christ in your request, which is commendable. It is only through His name that we have access to God, for there is no other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect.
